JPMorgan Chase Organizational Structure & Org Chart
JPMorganChase reports three major business segments: Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial & Investment Bank, and Asset & Wealth Management. Its June 2026 leadership change makes an older segment chart misleading unless the executives are updated too.

About the company
JPMorgan Chase & Co. serves consumers, businesses and institutions through banking, payments, markets and investment services. Its 2025 annual report identifies three reportable segments, plus Corporate, while its June 2026 leadership announcement names new heads of the two largest businesses.
The visual below pairs those two different facts carefully: solid lines connect the named leaders in the company's current leadership announcement, while dotted branches group reported businesses. A business branch is a portfolio grouping, not a claim about every employee's personal manager or a list of legal subsidiaries.
Three business segments under a firm-wide leadership team
Consumer & Community Banking is led by Troy Rohrbaugh, appointed in June 2026 after Marianne Lake announced her retirement. The chart groups its published consumer banking, card and connected-commerce, home-lending, auto and wealth activities beneath that business. Chase is the customer-facing brand across much of this segment, not a fourth reportable segment.
Doug Petno became sole chief executive of the Commercial & Investment Bank in the same June 2026 announcement. The 2025 filing describes Global Banking, Markets, Payments and Securities Services within this combined business. Commercial Banking had already been folded into the Commercial & Investment Bank in 2024, so a chart showing it as a separate top-level segment is dated.
Mary Callahan Erdoes continues to lead Asset & Wealth Management, which contains Asset Management and the Global Private Bank. Jennifer Piepszak remains chief operating officer. The company explicitly says Rohrbaugh, Petno, Erdoes and Piepszak report to Jamie Dimon; this chart stops at that published leadership layer.

How this structure supports the business
The three-segment view separates the consumer franchise from institutional banking and investing. It helps readers locate Chase-branded consumer services, J.P. Morgan-branded institutional work and the asset-management business without treating those brands as mutually exclusive legal entities.
The firm can connect products across those businesses: payments, custody, lending and investment services can serve the same client. The chart makes each published business home visible, while the cross-business service relationships still require explanation beyond a single-parent tree.
Advantages and disadvantages
- Three published segments give a clear top-level map of a very broad financial group.
- The same client may use services across several segments, and a tree cannot show all those links.
- Naming current segment CEOs connects the financial map to accountable leadership.
- Segment sub-branches are reporting categories; their placement does not establish every internal management line.

- Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Bank were combined into one Commercial & Investment Bank reporting segment in 2024.

- Asset & Wealth Management reports Asset Management and Global Private Bank as its two lines of business.
- The 2025 annual report lists 318,512 employees and $182.4 billion of reported total net revenue.
