About the company
Continental’s automotive-electronics business became the separately listed Aumovio in September 2025. Its current group structure has Tires and ContiTech, rather than the old three-sector arrangement.
Continental agreed to sell ContiTech in July 2026, subject to approvals and closing conditions. As reviewed in September 2026, this chart still includes ContiTech and does not depict the agreed sale as completed. ContiTech Original Equipment Solutions was sold in February 2026.
How Continental is organized
Tires is organized into Americas, APAC and EMEA business areas from January 2026, replacing earlier product-based business-area labels. It supplies vehicle makers and replacement markets.
ContiTech retains industrial solutions in the Americas, APAC and EMEA plus Original Equipment Solutions and Surface Solutions in the March 2026 published structure. Its industrial materials span hoses, belts and surfaces.
Aumovio is outside the current Continental group after its September 2025 spin-off. A pending sale of ContiTech is a transaction note rather than an ownership change in this tree.
