About the company
Sainsbury's group still includes Argos in its 2026 snapshot, while a sale agreed in July 2026 is expected to complete in 2027.
Sainsbury's's disclosed structure
The group presents Sainsbury's supermarkets, Argos general merchandise, Nectar loyalty, Nectar360 media and data, Tu clothing and Habitat homeware as distinct customer propositions. The July 2026 agreement to sell Argos to Swift Partners was not a completed disposal at the September 2026 review date; Argos therefore remains in this dated chart. In July 2026 Sainsbury's Money replaced the bank brand after the core banking portfolios moved to NatWest. Nectar and Nectar360 are loyalty and media capabilities, not supermarket chains. The diagram shows a brand and business portfolio, rather than asserting that all brands are direct legal subsidiaries.
